About us
Dr. Matin received his DDS degree with honors from the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) and his specialty certificate in oral and maxillofacial surgery at University of Washington , one of the top medical centers and most prestigious programs in the country. His 4-year clinical training encompasses oral and maxillofacial pathology and reconstruction, facial trauma, corrective jaw surgery, bone grafting, oral surgery, preprosthetic surgery, dental implantology, and office based anesthesia/sedation.
In addition to regular training, he completed an Anesthesiology Fellowship at Indiana University, School of Medicine, Department of Anesthesiology which gave him an opportunity to develop superior background in the field of anesthesia and achieve clinical skills and knowledge for providing general anesthesia and sedation for patients of all ages to assure a safe and comfortable anesthesia experience for all his patients.
Along with his strong clinical and surgical skills and work ethic, he is fully committed to providing the highest quality care, and to continually improve the quality of life of his patients. Dr. Matin is an affiliated attending surgeon at Harborview medical center and the University of Washington School of Dentistry, where he was involved as an instructor and mentor for residents and dental students during their training.
