How content is researched
The standard for Dental Country buying guides is How We Review. This page uses those same rules.
Our editorial team researches each product category: specifications, pricing, availability, and the service and support behind each product. We compare options the way a practice would before buying, and say which practices each one suits.
Every guide is then reviewed by Dr. Sean Myran, DMD, who earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and has more than 25 years of experience in dentistry. He also re-checks each new guide after it is published. Guides he has reviewed show a Reviewed by line at the top.
Patient pages, including FAQs, are general information. They are not a diagnosis, a treatment plan, or a substitute for a dentist who has examined you.
How products are ranked
Companies cannot pay to be included in a guide or to change where they appear in one. We do sell advertising and practice listings. Those are always labeled and kept separate from our guides.
Affiliate and advertising disclosure
Some pages show third-party advertisements, including Google AdSense. The ad network labels those units. Ads do not change what a guide recommends. AdSense may run on articles and ranked lists. It does not run on practice profiles, Find a Dentist pages, or brand profile pages unless that exclusion is turned off in site settings. Patient FAQs and other patient medical guides do not run AdSense.
If a guide includes an affiliate link, the page says so. An affiliate link does not change where a company appears.
Ownership
Dental Country and O360 (Optimized360), a dental marketing and website company, have the same owners. O360 appears in some of our guides to dental marketing and website companies. Every page that lists or links to O360 says so at the top.
Corrections
See something wrong or out of date? Email support@dentalcountry.com or call (714) 694-2707 with the page URL and what looks wrong. We will check it and, when a correction is warranted, update the page. There is no charge for a correction. You can also use the contact form.
