About us

ROOT™ was established in 2013 by Dr. Amit M Patel and has grown to include 7 locations in Dallas/Fort Worth. We are a dental surgery company that is privately owned, with a periodontist at each location who specializes in treating diseases that affect the bones and gums that surround your teeth.

Dr. Amit M. Patel, Dr. Hunter Allen, Dr. Pooria Fallah, Dr. Asfia Husain, Dr. Minny Li, and Dr. Youstina Mikhail work as a collaborative team with other dental providers in Texas to deliver the highest level of care for patients.

Procedural philosophy - We have a conservative treatment approach and use minimally invasive techniques to save teeth. If we are not able to save your teeth, our periodontists specialize in dental implants that can replace one or multiple teeth. We do this in an anxiety-free environment and offer many options for pain management. We have IV sedation, oral sedation, and conscious sedation options available.

Technology approach - We understand the importance of utilizing emerging technologies, and we incorporate the newest tools and modalities that we believe will benefit our patients. Some of the tech we use includes: CBCT 3-Dimensional imaging system, dental lasers, X-navigation guided implant surgery, dental impression scanners, intraoral cameras, and digital x-rays for reduced radiation.
