A patient once told me, “I wasn’t born in Texas, but got here as soon as I could.” Well, that is true of me as well. After completing high school here, graduate from the University of Texas, and marrying a Texan, I knew I was hooked. After attending the University of Tennessee for my surgical residency, I was fortunate to land in Fort Worth in 1994. Fort Worth offered the big city culture with a small-town ambience, and was filled with a caring and generous atmosphere, one that I hoped to follow in my practice of oral and maxillofacial surgery. I bring over thirty years experience to each patient and treat all with humility and compassion as if they were a member of my own family.

Practicing in Fort Worth has allowed me the opportunity for community outreach programs. I helped set up the Salt & Light Dental clinic, a nonprofit nestled under First Presbyterian Church Fort Worth over twenty years ago and serve as the clinical director. In addition, I am one of only a small handful of dedicated private practice surgeons taking part in trauma and hospital call at Level I trauma centers Harris Methodist Fort Worth and Cook Children’s Medical Center, wherein I am also the director of oral and maxillofacial surgery. I am honored to be part of such a giving community and strongly feel our efforts can make a difference to our underserved neighbors.
