About us
Dr. Laborde is a board certified periodontist and a native of Fort Worth. He received his specialty training and Masters degree from The Harvard School of Dental Medicine. As a specialist, his practice is focused on treating periodontal disease and dental implant surgery. He is on the board of the Fort Worth Dental Society and served as the 2017-2018 president. He holds several leadership positions in the dental community and feels grateful to work and serve others in a profession that he loves.
Dr. Laborde is a graduate of Fort Worth Country Day, Southern Methodist University and Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry. He was drawn to periodontics because he enjoys dental surgery and for his interest in the relationship between gum disease and general health. While at Harvard, he participated in and published several research projects focused on the connection between diabetes and periodontal disease. He views periodontics as a field that brings medicine and dentistry together. Dr. Laborde feels passionately about education and leads a dental study club of 15 other local dentists and specialists. He also lectures nationally and internationally on periodontics, dental implants and cosmetic gum procedures.
