Dr. J. Brent Sanders is a periodontist, a specialist who has received additional years of advanced training in periodontal disease and dental implant placement. Dr. Sanders has been practicing periodontics in west Phoenix for over 30 years.
Dr. Sanders is highly experienced in the placement of dental implants as well as bone and soft-tissue augmentation and regeneration. He has been performing implant surgery since 1987 and has placed over 8,000 implants during his career. He has lectured to and instructed other dentists on the subject of implant placement as well as in the field of bone and tissue regeneration.
Dr. Sanders’ approach to dentistry is to try to help his patients save their teeth whenever possible. He has extensive experience in effectively treating periodontal disease and getting it under control, thereby restoring his patients’ oral health. He has helped thousands of patients achieve beautiful and healthy smiles through his expert gum recession treatment and cosmetic gum recontouring.
Dr. Sanders is known for his friendly chairside manner and knowledgeable care. He takes the time to explain procedures so that you know what to expect throughout your treatment. He will listen to what you have to say and answer any questions.
Dr. Sanders received his dental degree from the Medical College of Virginia in 1983 and went on to earn his periodontal specialist certificate from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1985.
