About us
Dr. Michael Holbert is passionate about creating beautiful, healthy smiles for his patients. He enjoys getting to know his patients on a personal level and learning about what they expect from orthodontic treatment.
Dr. Holbert received his Bachelor of Science from Penn State University. He earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry. Dr. Holbert went on to obtain a Master of Dental Science and orthodontic certificate from the University of Connecticut.
Dr. Holbert is also an associate professor in the Department of Orthodontics at VCU School of Dentistry . He enjoys interacting with the orthodontic residents and sharing his knowledge while staying abreast of the latest trends within the orthodontic field of dentistry.

There are many considerations beyond teeth that are important when developing an orthodontic plan, so taking time to talk with my patients and parents helps me learn what they expect from treatment and allows me to educate them about what orthodontics can do for them.”
