Dr. Miller is a Virginia Beach native and graduate from First Colonial High School. He attended Old Dominion University where he graduated Suma Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science. He earned his DDS degree from University of Maryland School of Dentistry where he was part of the Pediatric and Oral Surgery Clerkships. Dr. Miller received the Edgar J. Jacques award for most proficient in oral surgery.
