About us
Born and raised in Texas, Perry J. Bushong II graduated from Texas A&M University , where he received a B.S. Degree in Genetics in 1997. He then went on to do research at the Cancer Therapy and Research Center in San Antonio. Afterward, he received an MBA from the University of Texas in Austin . Dr. Perry Bushong decided to combine his technology and life sciences background with a career in Dentistry so he attended the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio for his DDS degree. Dr. Bushong also completed his private pilot’s license in 2020. He graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio with Accomplishments and Awards in: • Senior Esthetic Dentistry Award (2 awarded per graduating dental class). • Teaching Excellence Honors • The American Association of Endodontists Certificate of Merit (1 award per graduating dental class for root canal excellence). • Completion of the Annual Preceptorship in Dental Implantology at UTHSCSA which includes hands-on training for implant surgical and restorative techniques.
