As a child, Dr. Hansen was close to the medical community. His mother was a registered nurse, and that influenced his decision to pursue dentistry. ​​​​​​​

Dr. Hansen grew up in the Chicago area, IL. He earned his bachelor’s degree at Purdue University before achieving his doctorate at Loyola University School of Dentistry. After graduating, he worked as an Associate part-time and opened his first office. Within a few years, he had expanded to five dental practices. He has been a Rockford dentist for more than 25 years. He is a member of the American Dental Association , Chicago Dental Society , Winnebago County Dental Society , the American Academy of Facial Esthetics and trained in oral conscious sedation.

With his skills and experience, one of Dr. Hansen’s favorite aspects of his job is helping patients feel comfortable instead of fearing the dentist. Whether it’s dental implants, different types of cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign, or sedation dentistry, we take pride in restoring the health and appearance of teeth with safe and effective techniques. “If you can do great work, then you are able to really ‘wow’ people,” he says. “We want to exceed our patient's expectations.”
