About us

Dr. Rush Sunar (Dr. Ramesh K. Sunar, DMD) is the founder and lead clinician at Charlotte Root Canal Center, located at 2809 Coltsgate Road, Suite 210, Charlotte, NC 28211. He has practiced endodontics in Charlotte, North Carolina since 2002 and has over two decades of clinical experience diagnosing and treating conditions of the dental pulp and root canal system.

Root Canal Therapy: Removal of infected pulp tissue to save teeth. Most procedures completed in a single visit using advanced techniques.

Apicoectomy: Endodontic microsurgery using a dental operating microscope to remove root tip infections when conventional treatment hasn’t resolved the problem.

Cracked Teeth: Specialized diagnostic techniques to identify cracks invisible on standard X-rays.

Emergency Dentistry: Same-day treatment for severe tooth pain, dental infections, and dental trauma.

Internal Bleaching: Whitening teeth darkened after root canal treatment from the inside.

Traumatic Dental Injuries: Emergency care for knocked-out, dislodged, and fractured teeth.

Dr. Sunar’s approach to endodontics centers on three principles: pain-free treatment, saving natural teeth whenever possible, and honest communication. He believes every patient deserves to understand their diagnosis and treatment options before any procedure begins.
