Meet the Doctor – Broward Oral Surgery Associates Dr. Laith Azzouni Dr. Azzouni is an experienced Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and has been in private practice for more than 17 years.
He received his DMD from the University of Pennsylvania (UPENN), School of Dental Medicine in 2004, where he graduated with honors. He is a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) and the national dental honor society.
Dr. Azzouni completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York, NY, in 2008. After graduation, he joined the staff at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA, for one year. He then moved to Boston and worked in private practice and taught at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine for 10 years. Since 2020, South Florida has become his home.
Dr. Azzouni is a Board-certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Dr. Azzouni was an assistant clinical professor in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine & taught in both the predoctoral and postdoctoral programs.
Dr. Azzouni is an avid tennis player. He also enjoys playing squash, table tennis, and running.
