About us
Dr. Shawn Yu received his dental doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania and his orthodontics specialty from the University of Southern California. Dr. Shawn Yu earned certification from the American Board of Orthodontics in 2011 and has participated in professional organizations including the American Association of Orthodontists and the American Dental Association.
Dr. Shawn Yu is a certified provider of Invisalign® and Teen Invisalign® and is experienced in all phases of orthodontics for children , adolescents, and people with special needs. He treats patients from age six to adults, handling both simple and complex orthodontic cases. His fun, warmhearted demeanor helps young patients enjoy each visit. Many parents have become Dr. Yu’s orthodontic patients after seeing their children’s smile improve through their orthodontic treatment in our office.
When Dr. Shawn Yu is not in the office straightening teeth and making smiles, he loves spending time with his family; especially his two children. Actively involved in the community, he frequently helps out at schools and sports events. He also regularly volunteers with food preparation in the fish fry kitchen at Sts. Simon and Jude to help serve the Huntington Beach community .
