I got extractions sinus lift, bone grafts and 5 implants 2 weeks ago, I kept on top of my pain killers and and antibiotics and I was fine, swelling and bruised but not a lot of pain was pretty much back to normal 2 days later. I was expecting to be in a lot of pain but it was totally manageable. Hope you have the same experience x
Sharon D. how much bruising did you have
Brandi N. I only had bruising from my nose to my top lip on one side, it wasn’t too bad as you couldn’t see it if I wore a mask, and it went away after 6 days.
Sharon D. okay thank you
Keep up with one Tylenol and three ibuprofen every six hours… I did that with my extractions and bit worked
Kendra M. thank you
This is exactly how I feel,
Had 9 extractions and 6 implants 2 months ago. Honestly, for me the pain wasn’t bad at all. More soreness than actual pain. I just kept taking the paracetamol and ibuprofen regularly. Ice packs when needed. Salt water mouth washes all the time.
Linda M. did you have any bone graft or sinus lift with your surgery
Pat B. No. Not needed. Do you need them?
Linda M. I think I do
You will be be fine honestly I got mine done on Mon and feeling better just managing soft foods.😁
All on 5 uppers Advil as needed 3 days, plenty of ice water 4 swelling
No pain! Took Tylenol 2 days.
Don’t worry it’s verry simple 😁
Is a surgical procedure, normally you will have pain and swollen. You need antibiotics, pain pills. Discomfort: 1 week, not big deal
Pain was 2 or 3 weeks but the biggest problem I had was I got cdiff from the amoxicillin and almost died
Don’t get mini under any circumstances
Connie B. they did not tell me I was getting mini
But why not mini
Got my surgery on Monday, 25 teeth extracted, bone graft, sinus lift, and implants placed. No pain at all just a little uncomfortable, I took pain meds for the first day only!
Rysheema J. so what part of the country was this in. I think it depends on the Dentist so where was this at?
Linda G. I went to Europe
Rysheema J. I am going to renew in Colorado
Depending upon how many teeth are pulled. That is where the most pain comes from. The 4 screws I had put in hurt really bad a few days after they put them in.
Diana E. F. I getting 15 teeth. 8 inpatient
Hopefully you have a good dentist who will give you good pain management.
Terri P. I hope I pick the good on 2
I’m getting my surgery on Wednesday morning too! I’m getting a full mouth of teeth removed, some grafting and leveling, and then I’m getting temporary arches (3 on 6 procedure). I’ve been worrying about pain too because we have a long drive home 2 days after the surgery.
Jessica S. my husband will take me and wait but our drive time is only 30 minutes or less
How many of you of you have mini dental implants and snap-on dentures? When you all say implants the same day as surgery, I’m surmising you also came out with temporary dentures? Was it difficult to get your dentist to do it all on the same day? I have some other questions if you don’t mind answering them.
I was in your shoes too and I had everyone tell me that It was easier than you think and it really was.
Darci P. I have been so scared but been waiting for about 5 years to get this done
Brandi N. yep you have a whole lotta buddies that felt that way. I even surprised my husband by how quickly I felt great.
Darci P. I hope I am not down for 2 long
Brandi N. I took an all day tour of Cozumel the next day from Playa….I felt great with just ibuprofen.
Darci P. I hope I am the same way
Brandi N. me too!
