First Set of Temps

Day 3. Well the day I have waited for! Teeth attached and I am so happy. It’s a weird feeling, I’m talking really funny and they say my bite is good but I surely will have some adjustments to get used too. The back too feels like the molars are too big but they say, not at all just my prior bite was really poor. Pain is very minimal and placement was not to painful and actually the pressure is a good feeling on the sore areas. Bruising seems worse today but only on one side but the swelling has gone down considerably. I will attempt to eat something later today of substance other than pudding, yogurt and applesauce, think I will do baked potato tonight. For only 3 days in I feel pretty darn good and am very happy with the look of my teeth not too bad for first set of temps. What do you think and be honest?

    We got this xxxx

    1. Rose M. not as bad as I anticipated ♥️ now learning to chew I feel like I have marbles in my mouth🙏

  2. How many teeth did you have extracted? I have mine set for June 4. Were any of them at the gumline?

    1. CeeCee O. I had 14 teeth extracted, one was broke off and gum grew over it so yes! That is where the bruising is. I had bone graph and sinus lift as well😬🙏🙏 for your upcoming surgery keep us posted!

      1. Tammy Jo G. I have a bunch that are broken off and am worried about the pain I will be in. Total of 19 to be removed. The oral surgeon I’ll look and see if I need bone graphs at that time he extracts everything. How do they know you needed a sinus left as well?

        1. CeeCee O. I saw an implant dentist and when they did the bone scans they could see how much bone was there. The pain the first night was the worst but nothing horrible that I couldn’t handle, rotated Tylenol and Advil for pain no narcotics of any kind.

          1. Tammy Jo G. I saw where you said you had it done in central Florida and I have been looking everywhere to have my lower done, what is the name of the group or dentist you went to because I don’t know who to trust. Are they reputable?

    1. Delores Juanita F. yes, I feel like my bite is off like the back molars are too big or something. Learning curve I guess

    1. Serdar C. central Florida, 40k
Bone graph, sinuses lift, extractions, sedation, 5 to 6 sets of temps the permanent 6 to 9 months and 5 years of care included! Very happy

  3. They look really nice. Are you comfortable talking about the cost? I’m just beginning to look into getting them myself.

    1. Darlene S. sure I looked around for 2 years and went various places and I settled here, love the staff and dr plus the complete care from surgery to 5 years of care, 5 to 6 sets of temp then perms 40k

  4. You look great! Is the bruise from the Jaw implant? How bad does it hurt. That really scares me looks painful.

    1. Annette M. it looks worse than it feels, the pain there not bad at all. The dentist said that area I had 2 teeth broken off one the gum had grown over so he had a hard time getting them out. He indicated the removal was more likely the reason for the bruising more than implant but could be both. It really doesn’t hurt there.

      1. Tammy Jo G. I get it at Whole Foods but you might find it in the homeopathic aisle at a drug store 💜

  5. they look great! so nice to hear peoples stories I’m a few weeks ago from getting my lower arch done, did you have teeth removed at the same time?

    1. Jo H. yes 14 teeth removed, bone graph, sinus lift, implants placed 6.5 hours in surgery.

  6. May I ask, did you have the sinus lift in hospital to be done by an ENT ( ear, nose, throat), specialist? What bone did they use for the bone graft?

    1. Ingrid Z. no ent, no hospital and graphs are cadaver. It’s a common procedure when graph is necessary near sinus they use a saline to move the sinus membrane so the implant doesn’t impede. That’s the way I understand it anyway.

  7. Tammy Jo G. my boyfriend needs a similar procedure done. Where did you get your work done? We’ve been looking all over, consultations left and right. You look great!

  8. They look Amazing 😁 had mine done in 1/21/2021 my bruising wasn’t that bad or swelling .. I’m still talking funny trying to get use to them but I Love them ❤ remember to stick to don’t foods , I know it may seem hard but I think I chipped one in the back 😕 have an appt on the 20th 🙏

    1. Bonnie L. beautiful smile you look amazing! Right now I feel like my back molars are huge and I couldn’t chew a noodle if i wanted too. Its a strange feeling. So glad you love yours the certainly are beautiful

    1. Jennifer S. I had the surgery Monday they pulled, implanted, bone graphed, sinus lift then today I got my temps put on the implants ♥️

      1. Tammy Jo G. wow, that’s incredible. I had to wait 4 months from extraction to implant and now I’m waiting another 3 months for temp. My dentist said it’s best for the implant to heal without the pressure of a temp. My tongue is so irritated from this empty space. Driving me crazy!

  9. Looks/ seems like your dentist was waaaaay to rough! But they do look beautiful!!💝 Congratulations!!💐

  10. Looks good. I had my eday 12 days ago and ended up with one bruise in the same exact spot and I didn’t have any teeth there to pull. You look very happy

    1. Tamara W. I’m really unhappy with my bite, I said they didn’t feel right from the moment they put them in. To me it feels like the molars are way tooo big but as the day goes by I have realized they are way too narrow and I’m bitting my tongue my tongue is wider than the back of my arch. I’m calling first thing in am.

      1. Tammy Jo G. I think my teeth on bottom are two big but because they are my temps I’m ok with it. My tongue is very crowded also. Do what makes you happy. Call and go In and have them fix it

  11. Looks great!!!…
…viewing from a cell phone, I think they look very natural…size, shape and color

Our Story

Dental Country was born out of a simple yet profound idea: to bridge the gap between dental professionals and the public by providing an all-encompassing platform for dental knowledge. Founded in 2013 by Dr. Sean Myran, a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, Dental Country started as a response to the growing need for a reliable and comprehensive online resource where both dental professionals and everyday people could find trustworthy, accurate, and well-researched information about dentistry and oral health.

Dr. Myran had witnessed first-hand the complexities faced by dental professionals, from managing successful practices to staying up-to-date with the latest dental technology and products. At the same time, he noticed how challenging it was for patients to find accurate, digestible information about dental procedures, oral hygiene products, and how to choose the right dentist. This dual perspective inspired him to create Dental Country, an online space that could cater to both audiences.

What started as a small blog quickly grew into a multifaceted platform with a wide range of dental resources—from practice management tips to in-depth product reviews and educational articles on oral health. Over the years, Dental Country has expanded its offerings to meet the evolving needs of dental professionals and patients alike. Today, it is one of the most trusted names in dental content, recognized for its dedication to quality, transparency, and accessibility.

Located in Lake Forest, CA, Dental Country has reached thousands of readers across the country and continues to grow. Through collaboration with dental experts, product reviewers, and a passionate team of healthcare copywriters, Dental Country has remained committed to its mission of providing well-rounded, authoritative dental content that helps everyone—from seasoned dental practitioners to families looking to improve their oral health.

Our Approach to Dental Content

At Dental Country, we pride ourselves on a rigorous and thoughtful approach to creating dental content. Our methodology is rooted in a commitment to accuracy, transparency, and expertise, ensuring that every piece of content we publish meets the highest standards of quality. Whether we are producing an article for patients seeking information on a dental procedure or conducting an in-depth review of dental products for industry professionals, our approach remains consistent: provide reliable, actionable insights backed by research and professional experience.

Every piece of content begins with extensive research. Our team of copywriters and dental experts gather information from peer-reviewed studies, respected dental publications, and input from dental professionals. We also consult product specifications and customer feedback when reviewing dental tools, equipment, and services to provide a well-rounded view. Accuracy is our top priority, and each article is carefully fact-checked and edited to ensure it provides readers with clear, actionable, and reliable information.

We understand that dental professionals have different needs than the general public, which is why we produce tailored content for both audiences. For dentists and practice owners, we provide practice management tips, dental marketing strategies, and product reviews that are critical to their day-to-day operations. We go beyond the basics by offering detailed analyses of emerging trends and innovations in the dental industry, helping professionals stay ahead of the curve. For the public, we focus on making complex dental topics easy to understand. Our goal is to demystify dental care, empowering patients to take control of their oral health and make well-informed decisions.

What also sets Dental Country apart is our commitment to neutrality. We are unbiased in our reviews and recommendations. While we do accept sponsored content and partnerships, these are clearly disclosed, and our editorial integrity is never compromised. We believe in staying at the forefront of these changes, ensuring that our content not only keeps up but also leads the way in educating our readers.

In the near future, we plan to introduce even more innovative tools and resources for both dental professionals and patients. One of our most exciting upcoming projects is the launch of interactive features designed to improve the user experience. This includes personalized content suggestions based on individual preferences, allowing dental professionals to access the most relevant practice management tips and product reviews for their specific needs. Patients will also benefit from personalized recommendations on oral hygiene products, helping them find the best solutions for their unique dental health requirements.

In addition to content personalization, we are working to develop a community platform where dental professionals can connect, share insights, and collaborate on best practices. This network will allow for peer-to-peer learning and foster a community of shared knowledge and support, helping professionals stay updated on the latest industry trends and innovations. We envision this space as a hub for dental experts to exchange ideas and help each other succeed in a competitive and rapidly evolving field.

For patients, we are expanding our content library to include more multimedia resources like videos, infographics, and interactive guides. These resources will cover everything from understanding dental procedures to improving daily oral hygiene habits. By offering a more visual and interactive learning experience, we aim to make dental care more approachable and less intimidating for the general public.

Our long-term vision is to become the most comprehensive online platform for dental education. We aim to be the first place both dental professionals and patients turn to for trusted, up-to-date information. To support this, we are exploring partnerships with leading dental schools, healthcare organizations, and technology companies that will allow us to provide cutting-edge educational tools, research, and data-driven insights.

As we look to the future, we remain grounded in our core values: a commitment to quality, a focus on empowering our readers, and a passion for transforming the way dental information is delivered. The future of Dental Country is bright, and we look forward to continuing to serve the dental community and the public for many years to come.
