Never! I hear all the problems with dentures and snap-ins and I’m so glad I decided on fixed implants, especially G4 implants. They are the best!!
Lynnda R. spam
Marty A. How are my feelings spam????
Nooo
No, I made decisions long ago not to protect my natural teeth mainly because I listened to the wrong people and because I was too young to understand.
yes
Roxie F. can I ask why?
No way. My only regret is not being able to afford it years ago.
Nope. I said in the beginning, even if they somehow only lasted 5 or 10 years… those years would be worth it.
No. Best decision I’ve made
Yes mine broke
Jennifer C. how did they break?
Jennifer C. I had one break in half too
I’ve had over 10 years of breaking about every 3-4 months!!
Stephanie R. what are they made of and what part is breaking?
Stephanie R. did they say why? Did you have all on 4?
Stephanie R. must been cheap material
yes
No I love ❤️ my all on 4.
Best teeth I ever had. Any issues are tiny and much less than with the originals.
Why do you regret doing it?
How can I get them cheap in miami fla
Oral Eugene B. cheap? You get what you pay for, no?
Nope
Never.
No…
Nope love mine getting them redone ASAP
Brandi R. why would you need them redone?
Absolutely not!! Love what Clear Choice provided me. Stop going overseas or to cheaper dentists.
My first one. No regrets. Ask me about my second in a year……..starting process tomorrow🤢🤢
Yes one failed now got to try again and it hurt like hell the first time. So if this doesn’t work than it’s a bridge.
Melissa V. why did it fail?
Yes
Erin Rae E. can I ask why? 💜
Yes
I dont like hoa its placed near my tongue
2 of mine fell out but should have just gotten a bridge for all the time, pain & money I went through.
Judy C. that’s what I’m thinking of doing
Judy C. I’m curious, why did they fall out? I have concerns about mine.
3 yrs later but they never felt right from the time dentist put the cap on. They fell out eating. 2 weeks apart.
Yes
Not at all, it’s amazing to be able to eat completely normally again
no, Id keep paying for them if I had to.. I could not handle the denture at all and was very depressed before.
Yes and no….I’m finally glad to have my front tooth back but it took 1 failed implant and 4 years for it finally to take. I fill like I should’ve focused on a partial.
Nope. I have had 2 for 1.5 years and 2 for 6 months. They were a game changer and right now anyway, I have no regrets other then I wish I would have had all 4 done at the same time.
Best thing I ever did. But I’m sure it’s not always like my situation. And only time will tell how long they will last etc. I did crush my pallet up on my top teeth and they are being repaired right now so I currently have my temps in which are huge and off center. Tomorrow I get my permanents back in and I can’t wait. What a difference the shape of your teeth make in your appearance! My temps are perfect!!!
Yes. I’m three months past having an implant put in. The crown hasn’t been placed but I’m going to have to have it taken out. It’s painful and I’m having nerve sensitivity.
Becky M. which tooth is it?
Julie M. #19. A bottom left molar.
Becky M. oh man im so sorry. Im looking at replacing 31 which is the bottom right molar. Did they say its close to a nerve? Will they take it out for you?
Julie M. He took more X-rays and said he doesn’t know what is causing the sensitivity. He says the implant isn’t close to the nerve 🙄. They will take it out, no charge. I’m pretty disappointed 😞 Good luck with yours.
Becky M. ugh. You poor thing. So much to go through just to end up losing it after all. Everyone tells me that if you’re going to lose one, a back molar is at least not visible. Is it titanium? Any chance of an allergy? Did you have a bone graft at any point?
Julie M. I don’t know if it’s titanium. I didn’t think to ask🥲. I sometimes have a mild allergy to nickel. I mean, I’ve always had trouble with earrings but that’s about it. No, I didn’t have a bone graft. I’m older, but he said I have good bone. I just don’t know. I’ve put a lot of $ into this tooth.
Becky M. this happened to me and have had nerve pain for nine months
Hatty N. which tooth did you get an implant on?
Julie M. inferior alveolar nerve
Hatty N. Did you have it removed? The pain has actually subsided a bit the past couple days but I can’t see paying to have a crown put on. I’m just afraid it will never completely go away.
Becky M. yes had them removed. What is your pain like?
Becky M. similar to me but mine is lower jaw
Becky M. where is the pain mostly?
Julie M. mostly below my chin jaw area, directly below the tooth. The tingling is mostly my lower lip on that side. I also have pain toward the eye socket tho I’m not sure if the implant is causing this.
Becky M., I assumed they removed the nerves. Is that not the case? 😕😖
Laura T. No. I don’t think they can do that. Am I right?
Laura T. they can’t remove big nerves
Hatty N., oh blimey, no wonder people are experiencing ongoing discomfort.
Laura T. the nerve In the lower jaw is the inferior alveolar nerve, it’s very big. I believe it’s very unusual for dentists to hit it, but even when the implants are placed at a distance it can disturb the nerve
Hatty N., thank you for the info. Very interesting.
Me!!!! 😢
Gean N. what happened
Yes I got cdiff from the amoxicillin and almost died left with some weird extreme fatigue sickness I’ve never been the same since
Talman H. how many implants? Do you still have them?
Julie M. 4 top 2 bottom yes I still have them just be careful a bad case of cdiff can change your life
Talman H. I have heard it can be wicked!! How are your implants now? Do you think they are contributing to your sickness as well?
Julie M. implants are fine and I’m sure I’m some kind of cdiff long hall I was bed ridden but slowly getting better, slowly
Talman H. I am so glad to hear you are getting better! Slowly but surely ☺️
Often times failure or success depends on who’s doing the implants and their level of expertise and experience …truly the same in the medical field. Doing much research, I’m finding out the “best” will cost upwards of $70,000 and beyond. Also, implants should be meticulously maintained.
Vanessa M. it’s very important to have them maintained on a regular basis
Vanessa M. lol i hope you meant “meticulously.” I have no plans to involve malice in the maintenance of my implants 😂
Yes or maybe wrong dentist. Just frustrated.
Sounds like most of the failures have been individual implant as opposed to a hybrid all on 4 or 6.
Yes
Yes! I had 4 molars done 5 years ago. Had to take two of them out, the pain would not stop for over a year. The other two are still there, but they feel very uncomfortable still.
F
I just wish I could afford them
Yes!
No
No
No !!!
Can anyone recommend an affordable dentist maybe in Fort Lauderdale area who does bridge. Definitely can’t afford implants. Maybe there’s other options.
Wendy R. bridge or partial
Ellen G. I think partial as maybe it’s more affordable for me.
Go out the country. Prices in the U.S are outrageous
Juan M R. where? What country
Lynn H. there’s plenty of places in Mexico. I myself getting my all on 4 done next month, for a lot less than what they priced here in the U.S. Place is located 20min from the border from Arizona
I can send you the info in a dm
Well with the amount of time it’s taken+still only being half finished id say yes but maybe ask again in a few months if I ever get finished my answer will hopefully be different.
Nope. Not at all.
No not at all
Yes. I had the best dentist in London do them and a week later it was like electricity across My face. Tingling, numbness, deep throbbing, you name it. I got them both taken out and nine months later still have severe nerve pain. They were nowhere near the nerve and there’s no reason for it. More and more people are having adverse reactions because of the titanium, probe and drill. That’s only my experience but I’d do anything to turn back time.
Hatty N. Oh my. You really went through it. Best of luck to you
Becky M. bottom molars
Hatty N. sorry! Traditional implants with bone added?
Crystal H. didn’t need bone added because I had enough bone but yes titanium
Hatty N. oh my goodness im so sorry. Which teeth did you get the implants for?
Julie M. bottom molars. True living hell. Lost my job
Hatty N. omg I’m so sorry! What does the oral surgeon have to say??
Julie M. he’s v supportive, he didn’t do anything wrong it’s a genuine mystery. I think maybe the drill buzzed the nerve indirectly? There is a huge nerve. The inferior alveolar nerve runs along the jawline. Did you have them?
Hatty N. I haven’t gotten an implant yet but I am considering getting one for my bottom molar
Julie M. Good luck, the inferior and lingual nerves are there so its a very sensitive area
Hatty N. thank you! Did you have it done by a surgeon? Did they do a cone beam scan first to check for nerves?
Julie M. Yes i had it done by one of the best in the UK. Cone Beam, everything. Didn’t hit any nerves. Seen many specialists who can’t see anything that went wrong.
Hatty N. I wouldn’t don’t again either. I think I could b having a reaction to metals
Lois M. maybe, what are your symptoms
Lois M. I am allergic. What symptoms are you having. Are they the temps?
Most people are fine with titanium which why it is used
Yes and no. My two front incisors never came in, so I had implants put in while I had my braces on. One shifted side ways, so that was removed. Now I didn’t feel pain, but when the weather changes and it’s raining, I get sensitive on the fixed one. I also had jaw surgery done to fix my under and cross bite. So when the weather gets funky I feel it in my jaw. The nerves in your tissue would be sensitive for a bit. When I had my jaw surgery, I couldn’t feel my chin for a few month…. but when I did… it hurt a bit and then subsided.
I also am doing 7 other individual implants. I will not have any teeth placed until I heal for 3-6 month.
Had 2 bottom implants put in. Loved them until my jawbone rejected them. Very sensitive now. Can’t afford to have them removed right now
Patricia F. how long have you had them?
Julie M. about 3 years
Patricia F. so sorry to hear. Any idea why they were rejected?
Julie M. no. They suggested taking them out, doing bone grafts, then replacing them in another spot. But if my jaw rejected them the first time, wouldn’t that happen again?? 🤷♀️
Patricia F. wow, I this is very unfortunate. I never heard so much negative results. Guess I will just have an upper denture.
Patricia F. powerful question
Lydia F. I do believe part of the failure had something to do with where I had them done. They seem to be too close to the edge of my jaw. I can see the screwed in part that should be unseen in my jaw
Patricia F. Tull if you are like us, we have to rely on the knowledge, training, and integrity of our medical help. We had a DMD, so Dr and Dentist because there were endocrine concerns as well. Walt is reasonably ok now. A fixed lowers and click in uppers. Because of medical history, sinus lift or bone grafts were not good choices for him. Wish you the best
Lydia F. thank you!
Yes.. found great consultant for implants 5* in Scotland..2 front titanium implants needed 3 bone grafts..look great..but unfortunately..have nerve damage..or whether allergic to titanium/bone graft or metals in my mouth..Still trying to find out after 5 years..As have pulsating pain..in sinus area..🙈
Eileen F. this happened to me!!!
Eileen F. did you have a sinus lift done? possible sinus perforation.
Marty A. no..
Eileen F. then it sounds like the implants are too deep in the sinus. A few MM can be ok for some but sometimes they go deeper. Common problem.
Marty A. Thanks for info 😊
Been a great experience for me….
Nope
Yes nothing but pain
Penny E. Really? what kind?
Had two with a partial attached. 11 yrs later one fell out I woke up it was in my mouth how I didn’t choke to death is beyond me
Yes
Nope Not yet but I only have one and I don’t have a crown yet. I will let you know in 6 weeks!
I had an implant, had it removed due to issues. Dentures are better
Valsa Kurien A. Really? Could you tell me why? I am missing three molars and when my pains better want to get a denture
Following
I’m in tears…I wanna be me again!
Catrina K., what did you have done?
Catrina K. I don’t have implants but I was thinking of getting them I just don’t know what else to do, I hear ya on wanting to me again too, this really sux. should of never got them pulled I really don’t think they even needed to be pulled, went to the wrong Aspen dental dentist he was an ass!!
Catrina K. my exactly what I been saying.
Sinus lift and bone graft before the pandemic,…I was in a car accident and my face hit the steering wheel. And concussion.
I had gotten veneers 16 months before the accident
12K it costed. The dentist made the decision….But while I was sitting in the chair for the sinus lift and bone graft,..the dentist kno cakes out another tooth and cracked another…
Best decision I have ever made. Couldn’t be happier after having a denture for 35 years. Only sorry I didn’t do it sooner.
Sharon I. So you have implant under a denture or is it just a denture?
Argelle L. I was able to replace the denture after 35 years due to getting implants😁
Uh oh
Yes I’m 2 yrs afterward. Everyday I wish I could go back in time and change my decision.
Hatty N. at first yes. And still have a little pain in my gums everyday. But I make do. I’m not saying this happens to everyone but I wish I had not made that decision
Becky L. no absolutely, it’s varied how people react. Did they find any nerve damage? And how long did it take for the pain to lessen?
Hatty N. I lost a lot of bone in the front top. Without my teeth my jawbone looks hair-lipped. I get nerve pain where the implant are. But not sharp ones. It took about 2 to 3 months or maybe more before pain from surgeries went away.
Wish I had just replaced the 4 I wanted to replace and not been talked into a full upper and lower.
I have to take teeth out after every meal. Even soft food. By the time I get home from work I have to take them out for a while. Husband hates it.
Becky L. U.K. so sorry, it’s really difficult to know what’s best. So did you have a fully upper and lower implant? My pain still lingers 9 months later
Becky L. what happened??
Julie M. I just wasn’t a good candidate. I got infection after infection. Ending up a full plate snap on instead of regular snap ons. Because of all the failures and bad placements of implants. I only have only 3 working implants on top. All back ones
Sometimes
Does anyone in this group have the renew snap on dentures
Linda York L. what are renew snap on
Robin G. they are dentures that snap on titanium post with a grill
Instead of traditional dentures these do not need any creams or polident they actually snap on
Renew My Smile Overland Park KS
oh. that sounds like what I will be getting. 4 implants that will have a connecting bar and a snap on denture
Robin G. from Renew??
no never heard of that. I am in Arizona
Ellen, do you regret your decision?
Oh yes. Every minute of every day. Want them removed but can’t find anyone to do it. I am reacting to metals I was even told about. Nickel and Cobalt. Autoimmune disease and pain. They lie, lie and lie to get your money. There should be testing, warnings and truth from the dentists and from the implant manufacturers about what is really in their products.
Mary Louise M. how did you find out you had an allergic reaction to metals.. please..did you have a special test..
