Bone graft?
Pat B. He said he couldn’t do bone grafts on my bottoms
Tina D. why not?
Tina then you need a second opinion
Tina D. get a 2nd opinion as I’ve had it on my upper and Lower.
Peta S. It’s hard to find dentists that do iv sedation. My dentist will do iv sedation for all dental procedures
Tina D. I totally get you on this. I had sedation from the age of 18 as I was referred from my childhood dentist due to fear and my needle phobia. I’m 49 now. Right up until I found the person to do my implants (went to visit a few to do my treatment) I had IV sedation every time for even a clean or a filling because I was that bad, and I had a few because my teeth have been bad since childhood. The guy I found had so much empathy with medical anxiety and fears that He was unreal, he was the 6th person I had found and he came on a referral from a friend. I have let him do all my treatment with injections with me awake and I didn’t feel a thing. Not in my life did I think I would find someone I’d let do that, even though he does do IV sedation for his treatment too. If you find the right one who puts you at ease and makes you feel happy with treatment (I freaked out before he’d even had a look and I probably scared everyone in their and the waiting room. I also have adhd too so I’m not an easy person to treat. I’m 18 months in and I have to say I will never go back to my NHS dentist now (apart from the fact that I can’t anyway now as I have implants and veneers now that I wouldn’t trust them with) my advice is go and visit a few and see how the react to your anxieties, it makes such a difference when you find the right person for your treatment. I’ve had 4 lots of bone graft, a sinus lift, 1 more bone graft to go and implants and veneers. 20 months in and another year or so to go.
Tina D. Ask Julie R. or Heather C. about their experience with implants in Costa Rica 🇨🇷.
Tina D. if you haven’t enough bone than the only option for you is Basal implants! In Bulgaria this procedure is very cheap 🙂 If you want to learn more than you can contact with Dr. Daniel D.
Даниел very professional and good doctor.
If you have bone loss you can get bone graphs if needed. I got bone done on one side ! Full upper for 9,000
I had teeth missing on both sides in the back. I only had a thin ridge for them to work with but they did bone grafting and three successful implants.
Linda S. ……That’s my problem too and he doesn’t want to do a bone graft.
Rita M. Did he say why?
Myste B. …….He said it probably wouldn’t be a success.
Rita M. because of preexisting medical conditions? That would be the only thing I could think of…
Myste B. …..Mine is very complicated because I have horrible jaw spasms & tmj problems. So, I need an orthodic, but have no teeth in the back…….that’s why I wanted implants in the back. My alveolar nerve is too high ……not enough bone to do the implant safely.
Rita M. ohh, no I’m sorry! I’m in a similar situation with TMJ exasperated by PTSD, Diabeted (though well controlled now), and Acid Reflux. I’ve lost several molars/premolars, so I was curious as to why they didn’t want to operate on you. I’ve foolishly staked everything to my implant dreams..
My alveolar nerve on my left side was closer to the surface and the implants could have resulted in nerve damage. I chose to take the risk and I do have nerve damage on that side. It was a trade off.
