Dental Country was born out of a simple yet profound idea: to bridge the gap between dental professionals and the public by providing an all-encompassing platform for dental knowledge. Founded in 2013 by Dr. Sean Myran, a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, Dental Country started as a response to the growing need for a reliable and comprehensive online resource where both dental professionals and everyday people could find trustworthy, accurate, and well-researched information about dentistry and oral health.
Dr. Myran had witnessed first-hand the complexities faced by dental professionals, from managing successful practices to staying up-to-date with the latest dental technology and products. At the same time, he noticed how challenging it was for patients to find accurate, digestible information about dental procedures, oral hygiene products, and how to choose the right dentist. This dual perspective inspired him to create Dental Country, an online space that could cater to both audiences.
What started as a small blog quickly grew into a multifaceted platform with a wide range of dental resources—from practice management tips to in-depth product reviews and educational articles on oral health. Over the years, Dental Country has expanded its offerings to meet the evolving needs of dental professionals and patients alike. Today, it is one of the most trusted names in dental content, recognized for its dedication to quality, transparency, and accessibility.
Located in Lake Forest, CA, Dental Country has reached thousands of readers across the country and continues to grow. Through collaboration with dental experts, product reviewers, and a passionate team of healthcare copywriters, Dental Country has remained committed to its mission of providing well-rounded, authoritative dental content that helps everyone—from seasoned dental practitioners to families looking to improve their oral health.
At Dental Country, we pride ourselves on a rigorous and thoughtful approach to creating dental content. Our methodology is rooted in a commitment to accuracy, transparency, and expertise, ensuring that every piece of content we publish meets the highest standards of quality. Whether we are producing an article for patients seeking information on a dental procedure or conducting an in-depth review of dental products for industry professionals, our approach remains consistent: provide reliable, actionable insights backed by research and professional experience.
Every piece of content begins with extensive research. Our team of copywriters and dental experts gather information from peer-reviewed studies, respected dental publications, and input from dental professionals. We also consult product specifications and customer feedback when reviewing dental tools, equipment, and services to provide a well-rounded view. Accuracy is our top priority, and each article is carefully fact-checked and edited to ensure it provides readers with clear, actionable, and reliable information.
We understand that dental professionals have different needs than the general public, which is why we produce tailored content for both audiences. For dentists and practice owners, we provide practice management tips, dental marketing strategies, and product reviews that are critical to their day-to-day operations. We go beyond the basics by offering detailed analyses of emerging trends and innovations in the dental industry, helping professionals stay ahead of the curve. For the public, we focus on making complex dental topics easy to understand. Our goal is to demystify dental care, empowering patients to take control of their oral health and make well-informed decisions.
What also sets Dental Country apart is our commitment to neutrality. We are unbiased in our reviews and recommendations. While we do accept sponsored content and partnerships, these are clearly disclosed, and our editorial integrity is never compromised. Our readers know they can trust us to provide fair, well-balanced evaluations of dental products, services, and companies.
Ultimately, our approach to dental content is built on the foundation of trust. We are not just a source of information; we are an educational partner for dental professionals and patients alike, committed to helping them navigate the ever-evolving world of dentistry.

We believe in staying at the forefront of these changes, ensuring that our content not only keeps up but also leads the way in educating our readers.

One of our most exciting upcoming projects is the launch of interactive features designed to improve the user experience. This includes personalized content suggestions based on individual preferences, allowing dental professionals to access the most relevant practice management tips and product reviews for their specific needs. Patients will also benefit from personalized recommendations on oral hygiene products, helping them find the best solutions for their unique dental health requirements.
In addition to content personalization, we are working to develop a community platform where dental professionals can connect, share insights, and collaborate on best practices. This network will allow for peer-to-peer learning and foster a community of shared knowledge and support, helping professionals stay updated on the latest industry trends and innovations. We envision this space as a hub for dental experts to exchange ideas and help each other succeed in a competitive and rapidly evolving field.
For patients, we are expanding our content library to include more multimedia resources like videos, infographics, and interactive guides. These resources will cover everything from understanding dental procedures to improving daily oral hygiene habits. By offering a more visual and interactive learning experience, we aim to make dental care more approachable and less intimidating for the general public.
Our long-term vision is to become the most comprehensive online platform for dental education. We aim to be the first place both dental professionals and patients turn to for trusted, up-to-date information. To support this, we are exploring partnerships with leading dental schools, healthcare organizations, and technology companies that will allow us to provide cutting-edge educational tools, research, and data-driven insights.

Same here, disaster stories forces me to step back and prolong my much needed dental treatment, it gets tiring to wait and wait, jeez.
There are a lot of success stories but you don’t see them being so focused on the negative.
I’ve had mine for 3 years zero issues. Absolutely love them forget that I have them.
Natalie N. so wonderful! How many do you have?
Julie M. I have 6…
Natalie N. do you have any on molars?
Julie M. yes, left side bottom.
I’m 10 days in and I have had an amazing experience. No pain, no swelling, no bruises, nothing but a little anxiety and the best permanent smile I could ever imagine!
Paige P. look great!! Where did you go?
Christina L. I have SEVERE DENTAL ANXIETY and found a Doctor in the Capital of the state of Maryland. The entire team made the process very easy and continues to do so. They do financing and free consults. Tell Katie you talked to me!!
Everything is designed by hand to fit you!
Paige P. May I be nosey and asked what you paid for yours?
Had my surgery last Dec…ZERO pain, no problems.
Oh, my!! I feel like I’m a complete success. You can hear my story on my video. I will say from the time I started thinking about dentures or implants until now has been 7 weeks. In two weeks I decided to go with fixed implants by Dr. Golpa using a G4 bridge. After I decided, within 2 weeks I had my surgery of 33 teeth extracted and total 8 implants, 4on4, implants placed in. The next day I received my new permanent teeth and then I went home, as I’m in Alaska and had this done in Vegas. I had a lot of swelling and bruising yet through all of this I had NO pain!!! My journey has been wonderful. Stitches came out within 2 weeks and since then I have been eating all kinds of foods, steak, corn on the cob, raw carrots, ribs, burgers, salad, etc. I love my smile. I love that I had no pain, no sores, no tem dentures, no nothing. It has been great!!! I have about 12 videos so far all about my journey so check it out. On top of that I had high anxiety of dentist. With Dr. Golpa I was so comfortable the whole time. it was a wonderful experience!!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oPZlFtTvAs4
Lynnda R. great to know! About what did it cost you?
Michelle P. For extraction, x-rays, CT scan, sedation, implants, transpiration to and from hotel, new full mouth perm smile and 6 month check-up/cleaning. was $31,500. Well worth it!
Lynnda R. Can I ask you how you can eat all of those hard foods when your implants take some time for the osteogenesis to take place?
Cherrie S. G4 bridges were pioneered by Dr. Golpa. He incorporates a titanium bridge inside the arches. By doing this the bridges supports and stabilizes the implants so you can overload them and heal quicker. It’s the same concept as if you get a hip or knee replacement. After surgery, within 24 hours, they have you up and walking on that leg as this help the bone adhere to the metal. Dr. Golpa says by three months your implants are adhered to your bones so well that they can not come out. You can see me eat lots of hard foods being only 5 weeks post op. Check it out. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gfFhJHM8tyM
I felt the same but then you realize that the success stories are usually in the comments😂😂😂😂
I’m almost 3 months out and I’m absolutely lovin my snap on process. I may still be in temps but I’m a lot more confident and have healed beautifully with not a single problem. My migraines are almost non existent because they found a huge abscess that I didn’t realize I had and I’m already counting how I feel and look as success!! I went out of country and had the absolute best care than I have EVER received from a dentist in country.
Darci P. where did you go? Im thinking Mexico
Yvonne S. yep. I went to Cancun Dental Specialists and have been nothing but thrilled. I’m feeling like more and more myself before bad teeth and I love it that I can laugh and joke with my patients if they happen to see me without a mask on (i work in a smaller community so it’s very common to run into them when I’m walking my dog or at the park etc). I felt like I really did my homework found the best fit for me with the qualifications I was looking for. It was an amazing experience from the beginning.
Darci P. I got a quote from them! They look amazing! I want to go in September. I’m hoping Covid isn’t going to be an issue.
Yvonne S. it’s not! Everything was very very clean anywhere we went, lol in fact we’d tell housekeeping they didn’t need to come some of the days but they still cleaned after we left lol. Everything is healing for me perfect to head back for my finals in September as well. Hoping to get in before hurricane season starts 🙂. But it was a fantastic experience the entire time I was there. I think I actually healed better with the salty air vs the really dry climate I live in.
Darci P.. I’m so excited. Thank you so much!
I wonder the same. This group scares me and I only need one implant!!
I have AO6, super happy with it. I’ve eaten so many apples since I got my finals, now that I can bite into them again 😂
Rachel J. I can’t wait for that day! More than halfway there!
There are probably more happy people than unsatisfied. People without problems have no need to ask a question or share their story
^^ this. I’m quite satisfied, but now that I’m done with the entire process, I don’t really have any reason to post.
Judy R.
I shared my story and I am happy with my results💜
I had two implants in my lower jaw, left side and I am happy.
I’ve had lowers since 2014 and I love them.
Emily J. G. What kind of a dentist that placed it? Mines was a periodontist.
May Mga Asungot Kasi
A specialist in implants, I’m not sure what you call them at this moment I just woke up… Lol
Most people only post the “bad” or share concerns and ask questions when something goes wrong. I personally had an overall amazing experience…(with some moments due to my anxiety). But when it was all said and done. Best decision, investment and experience I could hope for!
Heather C. so true! How many do you have? Are they molar teeth?
Julie M. i had full mouth restoration — 26 extractions and all on 5 implants with zirconium finals.
Heather C. beautiful!!
Heather C. Can I ask you where did you get it done and how much was the total $?
Andi J. Costa Rica. I will share my liaison contact and less than 20k total including my travel.
Andi J. SkyTravelmt.com
Andi J. in fact my guy just commented right below this. Reach out to Gabriel F.. He is great!
Heather C. Thank you dear God Bless you !
Hi Michelle P. how are you ? Please go ahead and ask their success stories to Heather C. and Julie Russell S. on full mouth restoration and Allon6 on zirconia. Anymore questions please call me at 718 7379823 .
2 months out after having 6 implants top and 4 bottom zero problems zero pain. Get a great surgery to do the work, I went to Costa Rica no regrets what so ever.
Robert Neil G. can you give me some details please
Omubejja E. https://aestheticdentistrycr.com
Robert Neil G. thank you
Robert Neil G. how do you find a good provider in a foreign country?
Grace E. https://www.whatclinic.com
Robert Neil G. .. soon to be the spot I am traveling to.
Haven’t heard anything bad yet.
I am to be getting a full restoration..
Carol S. Thats what I had done. Full mouth zero problems.
Robert Neil G. .. zero problems wow ..
That’s wonderful, I have mine scheduled in Costa Rica, but at a different clinic…what I have read on them sounds good.
I am hopeful that mine will be close to your experience. Did you do any type of method for sleeping. While they worked on you.
I have 23 teeth to be removed. They tell me I just need this special 💊. But I am still not sure 100% ..
I have AO5 top & bottom- eday was 4/28. I have my temps for 6 months then I’ll get my permanents. My experience has been good! I thought it would be horrific having 22 extractions at once, but I had minimal swelling and controlled my pain with Tylenol & Advil. Health wise this was the best decision I have ever made.
Rachel N. beautiful smile! And i felt the EXACT same way. I did go through a meltdown after the extractions. A short one and no regrets. But it was traumatizing for a bit! 🤦🏻♀️
Heather C. I completely understand. I have moments where I feel ughh when I talk funny or crave food I can’t eat but I do not regret it at all.
Rachel N. ohhh and you think they are great now. Since we seem to have the same experience – just wait til you get the perms. It was life changing for me! I was thrilled with my temps even but the finals just are so perfect. I had a little quirk so my dental team is remaking the bottoms. But overall I am just so pleased with the decision.
Heather C. thank you dear !
Rachel N. you look gorgeous! Your smile is beautiful!!! What are y’all referring to when you say AO5 and 4on4?
Kathie G. thank you ! The dentures are implanted on 5 screws on top and 5 on the bottom.
Rachel N. oh gotcha. My dentist never talked to me about that option. He’s doing two bridges on top. I’m wearing temps now but go for impressions for my permanent ones on June 2nd. I hope all goes well. For the bottom I’m only getting a partial until next year when I’ll have enough saved for a permanent plan.
My ONLY regrets are that I spent so much time worrying before the procedure and that I didn’t do it much sooner.
I had great experience in Costa Rica ! No pain , just a little swollen 😊 cost be 9,000 and couldn’t be happier
Julie Russell S. Thank you dear !
How many did you have done for $9,000? And can you share the dr please?
1,000s of people get implants, everyday, without a hitch. People only are compelled to post if there’s a perceived problem with them. So, you’ll seldom see people proactively post anything positive in a group like this. But, rest assured, it happens flawlessly all the time! 🙂
Same! I’m getting scared. Surgery is July 8th
I had five on top and four on the bottom thru Clear Choice in VA. Absolutely no problems with my implants or my beautiful attached teeth. Almost no pain and great follow up. It seems all the people complaining oftentimes used dentists overseas with no follow up or used cheaper dentists not specializing in implants. You get what you pay for.
Mary Ann H. I sorry you feel that but from a lot of what I’ve read on here it seems the majority of problem cases are more in the US. I got exactly what I paid for….amazing treatment with the best care I’ve ever experienced with dentists and staff for a fraction of what it would have cost here
Just got my temps AO4 – 4 days ago and its been a success so far. Im loving the new me. Im still pretty swollen but nothing like I was day 1 -3 from yesterday to today was a huge difference. The first 72 hrs for me was horrible but Im okay now so far. Fingers crossed! I get my perms a few days before my sons wedding! Thats been my goal from day one!
I had my procedure in August 2019 at the Golpa clinic in Dallas. I have had all my follow up care at the Golpa clinic in Virginia. This procedure has changed my life. I have zero regrets.
Nickelle J. full mouth? And if so was cost on their website accurate? I’m saving for dr golpa currently
A.D. West Yes, I had top and bottom done. The best thing I’ve ever done for myself. Yes, the prices on the website are accurate but they do have specials.
Nickelle J. Thank you, I’ve got 10k saved and so ready to get it done.
Nickelle J. do you have any smile pictures?
A.D. West Keep going. It will be well worth it. I was saving for my dream car but I did this instead.
Michelle P. this isn’t the most supportive group. Is it just implants or all on X that you are looking for?
Michelle P. I had A on 6 upper arch in March. Yes I was very anxious about the actual procedure, but for me there was no alternative to implants. Once the actual procedure was over and I got through the first week of soreness I have been fine. I had one meltdown because I thought I had a failing implant after about 2 weeks. Was reassured by my dentist that healing was progressing nicely. And still on track to get permanents in about 4 to 6 weeks. So although its not a pleasant procedure, and healing is a drawn out affair, in the end its more than worth the effort. Many more people have a successful outcome than a failure. ☺️
Linda M. 4 to 6 weeks? I have to wait 6 months for my permanents. You’re lucky. My dentists don’t believe in doing them that soon.
I want to hear good stories too!! Thursday is my day and I already need a nerve pill!
Judi W. Good luck!! I hope everything goes well! ❤️
Uh, I see you live in Nebraska, you gotta make a good research, there are dentists that you intend to go to, but they won’t place the implants, but they would refer you to ones that does, just be careful…I went to Specialty Dental Care in Omaha and not completely happy with it..they didn’t listen to my issue after they placed my implant.
Front tooth process complete and very pleased!
Look at some other group…young with dentures…and woman with dentures…both great groups
My molar 3 years ago only issue I had was dry socket.
I just had my front tooth extracted and grafted. Having the implant in a few months.
Dot F. I remember you saying you didnt need a bone graft, that’s pretty great after having a dry socket! Did it take forever to heal? How long did you wait from extraction to implant on your molar?
Extraction was worse then the implant in my opinion!
I feel terrible for the people out here who didn’t have a good experience or outcome. I’m so thankful that my experience has been over the top amazing. And so far, I’m thrilled with the outcome! I had complete top and bottom replacement. It has truly been life changing…
Kim, I’m new to this group and I’m thrilled to read your last couple of posts as all I’d seen so far had been complaints. I need to have full upper and lower implants as well and, needless to say, I’m nervous. If you don’t mind my asking, where did you have yours done and by whom? I live in Minnesota and plan on Clear Choice. Anything you can tell me about your experience would be great!
Shelley W. It’s ok to be nervous, it’s a huge decision! I went to Clear Choice here in NJ. Crazy expensive but worth every penny! I’m excited for you!! ❤️
Hi Shelley W. feel free to ask Heather C. and Julie Russell S. about their experiences with a full mouth restoration on zirconia and Allon6, with a substantial reduction from the average cost. Any questions please call me at 718 7379823.
Kim K. Very pretty
I’ve had two implants securing my bottom denture for 4 years with no problems.
