1. ICU Medical 0.9% Sodium Chloride Injection
Sodium Chloride Injection USP solutions are sterile and nonpyrogenic. They are parenteral solutions containing various concentrations of sodium chloride in water for injection intended for intravenous administration. When administered intravenously, these solutions provide a source of water and electrolytes.
2. 0.9% Sodium Chloride Irrigation, USP, Aqualite™
0.9% Sodium Chloride Irrigation, USP, is used as irrigation fluid during dental procedures.
- Sterile and nonpyrogenic
- It contains various concentrations of sodium chloride in water for injection.
- Provides a source of water and electrolytes
3. Sterile Water for Irrigation, USP, Aqualite™
Sterile water for irrigation is used to remove bacteria from teeth and gums during dental procedures.
- Sterile
- Distilled
- Nonpyrogenic
- Contains no bacteriostat, antimicrobial agent, or added buffer
4. Lactated Ringer’s Injection by ICU Medical Inc
These products are sterile, nonpyrogenic solutions, each containing isotonic concentrations of electrolytes (with or without dextrose) in water for injection. The solutions containing dextrose and electrolytes are hypertonic; those containing only electrolytes are isotonic. They are administered by intravenous infusion for parenterally replacing extracellular losses of fluid and electrolytes, with or without minimal carbohydrate calories.
5. Sterile Water for Injection by USP Diluent
Sterile Water for Injection USP is a clear, colorless, odorless liquid. It is sterile, hypotonic, nonpyrogenic, and contains no bacteriostat or antimicrobial agents. It is a diluent or solvent suitable for intravascular injection after first being made approximately isotonic by adding a suitable solute. It is also used as a diluent or solvent for other parenteral drugs. As such, it contributes to hydration when provided in parenteral drug and fluid therapy after introducing suitable additives and/or a mixture with suitable solutes to approximate isotonicity.
- Not manufactured with latex, PVC, or DEHP
- Preservative free
- USP-controlled room temperature
- Excel® flexible plastic bag
6. IV Solution Dextrose 5% and 0.45% Sodium Chloride
A saline solution containing carbohydrates in the form of dextrose restores blood glucose levels and provides calories. Carbohydrate in the form of dextrose may aid in minimizing liver glycogen depletion and exerts a protein-sparing action. Dextrose injected parenterally undergoes oxidation to carbon dioxide and water.
7. UPS Sterile Water for Irrigation, not for Injection
This irrigation solution is sterile water and not for injection.
- Distilled (contains some ions still)
- USP-controlled room temperature
- PIC™ is a PVC-free, DEHP-free plastic irrigation container
8. UPS Flexible Container
0.9% Sodium Chloride Irrigation, USP, is used as irrigation fluid during dental procedures.
- Sterile and nonpyrogenic
- It contains various concentrations of sodium chloride in water for injection.
- Provides a source of water and electrolytes
9. IV Solution Dextrose by BAXTER HEALTHCARE CORPORATION
Baxter IV Solution contains 5% dextrose and 0.9% sodium chloride. Dextrose and sodium chloride is a sterile, nonpyrogenic solution for fluid and electrolyte replenishment and caloric supply in single-dose containers for intravenous administration.
10. USP Sterile Water For Irrigation
Sterile Water Irrigation Solution is a saline solution available in plastic pour bottles for irrigational use only, not for injection.
