Our Vision for the Future
As Dental Country continues to grow, we remain deeply committed to expanding our platform in ways that meet the changing needs of our audience. Dentistry is a dynamic field, with new technologies, techniques, and products emerging every year. We believe in staying at the forefront of these changes, ensuring that our content not only keeps up but also leads the way in educating our readers.
In the near future, we plan to introduce even more innovative tools and resources for both dental professionals and patients. One of our most exciting upcoming projects is the launch of interactive features designed to improve the user experience. This includes personalized content suggestions based on individual preferences, allowing dental professionals to access the most relevant practice management tips and product reviews for their specific needs. Patients will also benefit from personalized recommendations on oral hygiene products, helping them find the best solutions for their unique dental health requirements.
In addition to content personalization, we are working to develop a community platform where dental professionals can connect, share insights, and collaborate on best practices. This network will allow for peer-to-peer learning and foster a community of shared knowledge and support, helping professionals stay updated on the latest industry trends and innovations. We envision this space as a hub for dental experts to exchange ideas and help each other succeed in a competitive and rapidly evolving field.
For patients, we are expanding our content library to include more multimedia resources like videos, infographics, and interactive guides. These resources will cover everything from understanding dental procedures to improving daily oral hygiene habits. By offering a more visual and interactive learning experience, we aim to make dental care more approachable and less intimidating for the general public.
Our long-term vision is to become the most comprehensive online platform for dental education. We aim to be the first place both dental professionals and patients turn to for trusted, up-to-date information. To support this, we are exploring partnerships with leading dental schools, healthcare organizations, and technology companies that will allow us to provide cutting-edge educational tools, research, and data-driven insights.
As we look to the future, we remain grounded in our core values: a commitment to quality, a focus on empowering our readers, and a passion for transforming the way dental information is delivered. The future of Dental Country is bright, and we look forward to continuing to serve the dental community and the public for many years to come.

Paperwork will go right into images and all the info in the acct will be updated when they finish it. And yes you can change the colors and add and delete and moved the button colors in setup.
Sandy N. Thanks. I understand it goes right into imaging and the chart module. I’m trying to figure out the easiest way to check without going into each account. We see 80 patients a day so that’s a lot of clicks. I know we can change colors. I was using the button as an example of something I could add to show a patient has updated their paperwork prior to their appointment.
I would love to have a flag for that too! We have a lot of flags
Phyllis C. Can we have a flag for it? Is it possible?
John W. I doubt it since it’s a Flex thing. If flex can plop a field into the appts then maybe. It would all have to be how flex is programmed. I don’t think it exists.
I’m thinking it might be a hard one to do because the forms go into images and they have to somehow separate which forms going to images, which folders etc.
I’m not a programmer but other forms plop into image that you might not want to trigger the flag. Unless they come up with some kind of functionality trigger specific. Ok now I’m rambling.
Unsure if you’re aware but they also go in the chart module on the bottom left.
John W. yep!
Also when you open an appt window, on the left side you can create and set patient definition fields.
Then you can have the front office put something like letter F for forms. And you I think can make it show up on the appt. This takes manual checking of course. (This is all top of my head) I can screen shot If need
I would like to know as well. That would be a cool feature to add if it doesn’t exist already.
Brennon D. any thoughts?
Sirisha Jupudy G. certainly something we could explore! As a heads up, Flex itself will notify you on the schedule view if any patients need to complete forms that day.
Brennon D. is there way to get those to get sent out automatically, the same way the Covid forms are sent out 2 hours before the appt time
They’re setup a bit different, but you can setup both new patients and health history updates to go out automatically. If you’d like a hand with that I’d be happy to have the team reach out tomorrow
Brennon D. the automatic email part is super cool and easy to set up. Can you elaborate on the comment earlier of “flex will notify you on the schedule view if any patients need to complete forms that day.” Where do I find that information? Thanks!
John W. so if you’re looking at the schedule view, you’ll may notice a little file icon next to the patient’s name. If you hover over that you’ll see ‘forms needed’ — we’re checking based on the interval set (or even procedure codes they’re scheduled for when it comes to consent forms) if the patient is missing anything. You can see all patients scheduled from here, so it should be an easy glance to know who we’re waiting on.
Brennon D. Can it go automatically via text when we add a patient to open dental?
Don’t do auto import. Do it manually, view pt information as not everything entered by pt is right. Also, insurance information needs to be checked. Once we import we set patient field, online forms to F
I disagree. Patients should be responsible for their information and they sign stating it’s correctly.
John W. You may disagree but the reality is pt does not enter information correctly. I can show tons of flex forms.
I’m not disagreeing inaccuracies occur. I’m referring to patient responsibility. Do you make patients take their premedication in directly in front of you or do you feel they are responsible for their actions? A wrongly entered telephone number is less important than a newly replaced joint infection.
Charles B. – how do you get your COVID forms to go out automatically?
Lena L. I don’t know. I thought that was the default
