About us
Dr. Meagan Struby is a Board Certified Orthodontist, who takes care to customize treatment plans, tailored to the needs of her patients. She has been providing exceptional orthodontic treatment to her patients for over 15 years. As the first woman orthodontist practicing in the Reno/Sparks area to call Northern Nevada home, Dr. Struby is a third generation Nevadan, who is proud of her family’s contribution to our state.
Dr. Struby was born and raised in southern Nevada. After graduating from Bishop Gorman High School, Dr. Struby ventured to University of Portland for her undergraduate studies. There, she was granted the opportunity to study abroad in London with the university’s Summer Biology Program. She earned her degree in Biology, with a minor in Chemistry, and was accepted into dental school in Omaha, Nebraska, shortly thereafter.
Dr. Struby met her husband, Brian, at Creighton University’s dental school, where they shared an experience of a lifetime on a volunteer dental mission trip. They were granted the opportunity to provide dentistry to underserved people living in remote villages of the Dominican Republic. She left the DR with a little bit of Spanish and an abundance of Dominican smiles.
