About us

Whether you’ve been putting off a dental problem for years or simply want to feel better about your smile, your first visit starts with listening. We’ll take the time to understand what’s been going on and do a thorough assessment, including a complimentary dental health scan. From there, we’ll walk through your options together. You’ll see what treatments are available, understand what each one involves, and know what to expect in terms of time and cost. Once informed, you decide what happens next.

For me, this work is about giving back what dental problems have taken. In fact, I think about restoration a lot. It’s a word that connects to my faith, to something I believe about people and what they deserve. I came to dentistry because I liked working with my hands and seeing immediate results. I’ve stayed because of how much those results mean to the people we serve.

I grew up in South Florida and Tennessee, trained at the University of Kentucky, and spent six years as a dental officer in the Army before we moved to Somerset to be close to my wife’s family. Elisabeth’s family has been here for generations—her grandfather was the mayor of Burnside, just a couple miles south.

After a couple of decades here, there’s nowhere else I’d want to call home. My team has been here for decades, too.
