Born and raised in Georgia, Dr. Stephanie Joy Sweeney is a proud graduate of the University of Georgia’s Honors College and the Medical College of Georgia. After refining her skills in advanced technology dentistry in North Carolina, she returned to Savannah in 2016 to open Savannah Dental and provide comprehensive, forward-thinking care to her community.
Dr. Sweeney supports local organizations, including Ronald McDonald House, Coastal Conservation Association, Ambucs Bowlapalooza, Jewish Educational Alliance, Caretta Research Project, Brightside Advocacy, Hadassah, Sara Portman Community Fund, American Heart Association, and Urban Hope.
Dr. Sweeney enjoys life on the coast and can often be found surfing, kiteboarding, or sailing. She also loves traveling and spending time with friends and family.
