About us
Dr. Mark Kraver graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry in 1985. Upon graduation, he chose to begin his career by serving his country in the United States Air Force. As a Captain, he received advanced training in all aspects of dentistry, which led him to be named department heads of both Periodontics and Endodontics at Tinker AFB.
It was always Dr. Kraver’s dream to move back to Florida where he spent most of his childhood. After his time of service was completed, he finally moved his family to Southwest Florida in 1988. Since his return, his commitment to quality dental services and patient comfort has made Cape Dental Care into one of the most established and respected dental practices in Southwest Florida.
Dr. Kraver has pursued over a thousand hours of continuing education in practically every field of dentistry. He is an alumnus of some of the most renowned dental education centers in America including the Pankey Institute, the Dawson Center, the Hornbrook Group, the Parker Mayhan Craniofacial Pain Center at the University of Florida College of Dentistry and Dr. Arun Garg’s Implant Seminar Series. Dr. Kraver was considered a pioneer in laser dentistry when he purchased his first dental laser over 20 years ago. Today he utilizes his expertise in laser dentistry for a wide variety of procedures, from accurately detecting cavities (diagnoDent) to laser-assisted root canals(PIPS).
