Dr. Dachman is native to Rockford, IL and is a proud graduate of Rockford Christian High School . He completed his undergraduate degree in Public Health Studies at Johns Hopkins University , which is consistently ranked as the number-one school of public health in the world. After completing his undergraduate studies, Dr. Dachman returned home to earn his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
While in dental school, Dr. Dachman garnered many awards most notably the coveted Albert Schweitzer Fellowship for his work with children with special healthcare needs and the University-wide Jane Addams Distinguished Service Award. Following dental school, Dr. Jake went on to complete advanced training through a specialized pediatric residency program at Cincinnati Children's Hospital , which is currently ranked as the number-one children's hospital in the nation.
In his final year of residency, Dr. Dachman was awarded the prestigious American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) Resident Recognition Award, which is only awarded to four graduating residents in the country. Dr. Jake is passionate about furthering his craft by actively taking part in research, continuing education, and local study clubs, learning about new treatment options and innovations in the dental industry to continue to provide the very best care possible.
