At Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics of Chattanooga (PDOC) , we are proud to welcome a compassionate and skilled new provider to our team—Dr. Megan Bearden, a dedicated pediatric dentist who brings both expertise and heart to every patient interaction.
Dr. Megan Bearden grew up in Lenexa, Kansas, where family and community played a central role in shaping her values. From an early age, she knew she wanted to make a positive difference in the lives of others. Her journey into pediatric dentistry began during her time at Kansas State University, where she discovered her love for dental care while shadowing a trusted mentor. It was there she also honed her drive and discipline as a competitive gymnast and pole vaulter on the track and field team. Athletics taught her the importance of focus, patience and persistence—qualities that now shine through in the gentle, reassuring care she gives her young patients.
Dr. Megan Bearden went on to earn her dental degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry, followed by a prestigious pediatric dentistry residency at Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. Her advanced training and clinical experience have given her the tools to care for children with a variety of dental needs, always with a personalized and thoughtful approach.
