Dr. Lavin began his journey into dentistry when he had his wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Al Akerson. This renowned oral surgeon did everything in his power to talk Dr. Lavin out of becoming a doctor and into becoming a dentist – and he succeeded!
As a caring endodontist in Sioux Falls, SD , Dr. Lavin wants you to feel calm about your root canal procedure. Outside of the office, Dr. Lavin enjoys golfing with his friend and spending time with his daughters. For him, there is no better job than being a father.
I currently reside just outside of my hometown, Tea, SD. My husband, James, and I traveled for ten years during James’ military career and spent six of those years overseas. We moved back to the area to raise our children and our daughter still lives close by.
I never dreamed I would be working in dentistry; however, a fun conversation with Dr. Lavin led me to explore this option. 16 years later, I’m so glad I did!
