Dr. Morgan Trahant Lang became the first female orthodontist when she opened Lang Orthodontics in Shreveport in 2012. With aspirations to give back to the community that helped to raise her, Dr. Lang returned back to her hometown of Natchitoches to make orthodontics more accessible and convenient to more families. She is now serving Shreveport, Natchitoches, Benton, and the surrounding areas. From the beginning, Dr. Lang has incorporated mentoring and job shadowing opportunities in hopes of continuing the legacy of females into the orthodontic field. You’re not only getting a great smile, you’re also supporting women in STEM roles today and the future.
