Dr. Garrett Kawata has practiced orthodontics in Corona for over 30 years. Having grown up in California and raised his own family here, he understands the needs of the patients and families he treats. After attending the University of Southern California for his undergraduate studies, Dr. Kawata earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry. He then returned to the USC School of Dentistry for his advanced specialty degree in orthodontics. He continues to be involved at the USC School of Dentistry, Department of Graduate Orthodontics, as a clinical professor.
