Dr. Gary Shanker graduated from Washington University in 1964 and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. In 1968, he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Tennessee , and in 1972, obtained his post-doctoral degree in orthodontics from Washington University.
Dr. Shanker served as an assistant professor of orthodontics at Washington University, where he has lectured and taught clinical orthodontics for over 15 years. In addition, his lectures have been presented to orthodontists, orthodontic graduate students, and dental study groups.
