Founded in 2008 in Washington, D.C., Capital Center® for Surgery began as a premier destination for oral & maxillofacial surgery under the leadership of Dr. Robert Emery, a pioneer in image-guided surgery with over 37 years of experience. Since then, the practice has evolved into a multidisciplinary center offering oral surgery, body contouring, and advanced aesthetic treatments—all under one roof.
In 2017, Dr. Armando Retana joined the team and expanded Capital Center® for Surgery’s capabilities with a world-class cosmetic surgery program, bringing global techniques from Colombia and Latin America.
