Dr. Heather Sulte was born in Boulder, Colorado and raised in Anchorage, Alaska from the age of two. She is a graduate o f Service High School and earned her Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry from Seattle University. Dr. Sulte went on to attend the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry, where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.

Following dental school, Dr. Sulte-alongside her husband, Randy, and their three children-moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota, where she completed her Master's Degree in Endodontics in 2004. After graduation, the Sulte family returned to Alaska, where Dr. Sulte entered private endodontic practice and welcomed their youngest daughter.

Dr. Sulte and Randy are now empty nesters and are proud of the paths their four children have chosen. Their eldest daughter, Aspen, is a Captain and Flight Commander in the United States Air Force, flying the A-10 Warthog and stationed at Moody Air Force Base. Their second daughter, Brynn, is a Captain in the United States Space Force, serving as a space operations officer in Colorado Springs. Their son, Hunter, is a professional goalkeeper in Major League Soccer and currently plays for the Portland Timbers. Their youngest daughter, Lauren, is a junior at the United States Naval Academy, majoring in mechanical engineering and planning to continue on to a master's degree.
