For more than 25 years, Dr. Jason Keefe has helped patients across Spokane feel confident about their smiles. He leads 5 Mile Smiles with a steady mix of skill, warmth, and a genuine passion for helping people.
Dr. Keefe believes great dentistry starts with trust. He takes time to listen, explain your options clearly, and make sure you feel comfortable at every step.

Dr. Keefe grew up as the fourth oldest of ten children in Port Washington, Wisconsin. That big-family upbringing shaped his patient, people-first outlook early on.
After high school, he joined the U.S. Air Force, which brought him to Spokane. During his service, he trained as a dental assistant and discovered his love for helping people through dentistry.
That spark set the course for everything that followed.
After the Air Force, Dr. Keefe worked as a dental assistant for Dr. Ed Fredrickson, a respected prosthodontist and one of the first dentists in the United States to place osseointegrated dental implants.
Working alongside Dr. Fredrickson inspired him to pursue dentistry as a career. It also planted the seeds for his lasting interest in implants and restorative care.
Dr. Keefe built his foundation at Whitworth University in Spokane and Chaminade University of Honolulu, where he completed his pre-dental studies.
