  1. Based what I have been told by multiple American dentists. If you go out of country.. And you have a problem. You have to go back.. They won’t help you.

    1. Phil H. I was told that myth too, only to eventually realize that I have never meet a dentist who said “oh I won’t take your money because another dentist did work on your teeth first”.

    2. Phil H. oh course a dentist is not going to agree that you should go somewhere you can get great care for an actual livable price. But when it comes down to if you can find a dentist to help in emergencies money talks in this country. My dentist in Mexico trained in the US is an active member in ADA in good standing (keeps that by doing some volunteer work mainly) has an American license and partners with many practices around the country. Sure I’m a 50 minute flight from a good….like I need major work….but that’s fine I wouldn’t go to any around my crap state anyway. Not after years of being overcharged and the over judgment I received here. I’d rather not have to work till I die and with the new choppers I’d like to eat food I wasn’t able to before so this was an excellent option. Doesn’t matter what country you have the work in….unless you make prior arrangements a dentist will give you a hard time if you had the work done from another dentist even in the same area. Don’t listen to that crap.

  2. I am going for upper and lower .
    Implants on both
With the prices here in the states i didn’t have any other choice .. I haven’t gone yet but everything is set to go in the middle of June.
I am not worried at all , I understand that there dentist are taught like the USA dentist.
I also understand that they take excellent care of you while you are there.

      1. Darci P. , hello … my friend
Can’t wait and it can’t come soon enough, I was telling my daughter how we
text and one night it was really late , until I said don’t you have to work tomorrow, you said a yes I do , gotta go.
I am still chuckling.. my daughter isn’t pleased about me going .. she’s worried.
I told her what you have told me , she said oh really.. she said she couldn’t do it..

    1. Carol S. completely understandable why she’s nervous….tell her to message me if she has any questions as well. Lol yeah we are crazy, glad you reminded me oh yeah that whole work thing lol.

  3. Supreme dental. Had the bone removal top and bottom, 4 on 1 for the top 6 on the bottom, and two membranes, 20k

  4. I went to Supreme Dental too. 9 teeth root canal’s and crowns, one partial bridge and crowns, on top bottoms extracted, bone grafts, and then 6 posts with 3 permanent bridges @16k

        1. Anita L. .. yes your get more price compared. I started about a year ago ,
Then I had to stop something came up.
Money used for something else..so I started again with four free consultation., about a year later..
All were very close in saying what was needed to be done , but the funds to get fixed .
They were all over the place $25,000,00
          To $50,000.00
Unbelievable is what I thought , in the states these so called quotes that they give with out a blink, is so far off my ink pin page..
So that takes me out of the states..and into a different country.
I researched till I was blue In the face , found one , with a good feeling and connection..with the right pricing. I feel good about my decision.

          1. Carol S. right on! I know it’s a whole process, but sounds like you’ve done your homework, and I wish you the best!

  5. I went to Implant art TJ in Tijuana Mexico March 7 2021 to do All on 4 on upper teeth I was charge $5800 but I already had my top teeth extracted and my full denture plate made from my regular dentist in US that I been to for years this place was great no problems at all no pain after my implants were placed and haven’t had any trouble I’m two weeks post op from implants placement I went to regular dentist this past week for cleaning on bottom teeth and she checked my implants out and said everything looks good and I was healing good so she just needed to know what type of implants they used so if I need any parts to then she would know but other than that it’s was great go back end of July for perms but think I’m push it to end of august to give my mouth more time for implants to settle

  6. Thanks everyone. You’ve given me a good start I’m just so ready to be healthy and the states are just way to much I was told $59,000 for top And bottom then I asked for any other options they said for 26,000 I could get the implants on the bottom and a denture for the top (which they give me for free) they would start me at $16,00 then when I need to get my perms I. Would pay the other 10,000… I
Don’t want any dentures so if I’m paying that much I’m going to Mexico for sure to
Get it done. Thanks so much everyone

  7. Here’s the deal: Dentists aren’t going to incur their patients’ travel costs. So that’s a factor, but I have also noticed that there is often a disconnect between patient and doctor, in that the doctor fails to inform the patient well enough, and the patient fails to inform themselves, or is not open to being taught because they see the dentist as someone more interested in getting money than providing quality care. As a result, they aren’t honest and don’t ask questions they should be asking. In the end, there has been some misunderstanding construed as a mistake or just shoddy work.
It is on you to provide honest feedback to your dentist all the way through the process AND advocate for yourself. You just dropped thousands of dollars. Be the boss of this situation. They aren’t you. They can’t feel what you feel. And it becomes difficult to say when it’s time to bill you again if you leave your appointment without being sure you are satisfied, and return in need of adjustments.
So for international clients, they do try to get it right the first time, but it’s more pressure for them and higher risk for the patient. Every practice is going to do what they can to keep clients returning, but there are limits to what they can do if you are only around for two weeks and they don’t see you for several months, or maybe ever again, because you are from some other place.
That said, it’s your money, put it where you feel confident about it, and don’t let them think the job is done if you still feel wrong in your mouth. And that goes for any dental work, near or far.
Edit: oh, and I paid 16g for all-on-5 uppers w bone graft at Sani Dental in Los Algodones.

  8. I’m planning on going to Cancun dental design in a week to do all on 5 for top and bottom. Zirconia perms In 6 mo. Around 20k total without hotel, food and flights.

    1. Zackary B. if you feel up to doing anything after….hit up
Coba (nexus tours did awesome! And we’ve been there several times but this was by far the best tour! And Cozumel….everything is cheap there this no cruises. And yes I felt amazing to do these things. Have a great experience. Take it easy but don’t miss out of stuff if feeling up to it!

    2. Zackary B. same deal with better quality ( Hiossens ) can be done in Turkey for less than half

Our Story

Dental Country was born out of a simple yet profound idea: to bridge the gap between dental professionals and the public by providing an all-encompassing platform for dental knowledge. Founded in 2013 by Dr. Sean Myran, a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, Dental Country started as a response to the growing need for a reliable and comprehensive online resource where both dental professionals and everyday people could find trustworthy, accurate, and well-researched information about dentistry and oral health.

Dr. Myran had witnessed first-hand the complexities faced by dental professionals, from managing successful practices to staying up-to-date with the latest dental technology and products. At the same time, he noticed how challenging it was for patients to find accurate, digestible information about dental procedures, oral hygiene products, and how to choose the right dentist. This dual perspective inspired him to create Dental Country, an online space that could cater to both audiences.

What started as a small blog quickly grew into a multifaceted platform with a wide range of dental resources—from practice management tips to in-depth product reviews and educational articles on oral health. Over the years, Dental Country has expanded its offerings to meet the evolving needs of dental professionals and patients alike. Today, it is one of the most trusted names in dental content, recognized for its dedication to quality, transparency, and accessibility.

Located in Lake Forest, CA, Dental Country has reached thousands of readers across the country and continues to grow. Through collaboration with dental experts, product reviewers, and a passionate team of healthcare copywriters, Dental Country has remained committed to its mission of providing well-rounded, authoritative dental content that helps everyone—from seasoned dental practitioners to families looking to improve their oral health.

Our Approach to Dental Content

At Dental Country, we pride ourselves on a rigorous and thoughtful approach to creating dental content. Our methodology is rooted in a commitment to accuracy, transparency, and expertise, ensuring that every piece of content we publish meets the highest standards of quality. Whether we are producing an article for patients seeking information on a dental procedure or conducting an in-depth review of dental products for industry professionals, our approach remains consistent: provide reliable, actionable insights backed by research and professional experience.

Every piece of content begins with extensive research. Our team of copywriters and dental experts gather information from peer-reviewed studies, respected dental publications, and input from dental professionals. We also consult product specifications and customer feedback when reviewing dental tools, equipment, and services to provide a well-rounded view. Accuracy is our top priority, and each article is carefully fact-checked and edited to ensure it provides readers with clear, actionable, and reliable information.

We understand that dental professionals have different needs than the general public, which is why we produce tailored content for both audiences. For dentists and practice owners, we provide practice management tips, dental marketing strategies, and product reviews that are critical to their day-to-day operations. We go beyond the basics by offering detailed analyses of emerging trends and innovations in the dental industry, helping professionals stay ahead of the curve. For the public, we focus on making complex dental topics easy to understand. Our goal is to demystify dental care, empowering patients to take control of their oral health and make well-informed decisions.

What also sets Dental Country apart is our commitment to neutrality. We are unbiased in our reviews and recommendations. While we do accept sponsored content and partnerships, these are clearly disclosed, and our editorial integrity is never compromised. Our readers know they can trust us to provide fair, well-balanced evaluations of dental products, services, and companies.

Ultimately, our approach to dental content is built on the foundation of trust. We are not just a source of information; we are an educational partner for dental professionals and patients alike, committed to helping them navigate the ever-evolving world of dentistry.

We believe in staying at the forefront of these changes, ensuring that our content not only keeps up but also leads the way in educating our readers.

In the near future, we plan to introduce even more innovative tools and resources for both dental professionals and patients. One of our most exciting upcoming projects is the launch of interactive features designed to improve the user experience. This includes personalized content suggestions based on individual preferences, allowing dental professionals to access the most relevant practice management tips and product reviews for their specific needs. Patients will also benefit from personalized recommendations on oral hygiene products, helping them find the best solutions for their unique dental health requirements.

In addition to content personalization, we are working to develop a community platform where dental professionals can connect, share insights, and collaborate on best practices. This network will allow for peer-to-peer learning and foster a community of shared knowledge and support, helping professionals stay updated on the latest industry trends and innovations. We envision this space as a hub for dental experts to exchange ideas and help each other succeed in a competitive and rapidly evolving field.

For patients, we are expanding our content library to include more multimedia resources like videos, infographics, and interactive guides. These resources will cover everything from understanding dental procedures to improving daily oral hygiene habits. By offering a more visual and interactive learning experience, we aim to make dental care more approachable and less intimidating for the general public.

Our long-term vision is to become the most comprehensive online platform for dental education. We aim to be the first place both dental professionals and patients turn to for trusted, up-to-date information. To support this, we are exploring partnerships with leading dental schools, healthcare organizations, and technology companies that will allow us to provide cutting-edge educational tools, research, and data-driven insights.

As we look to the future, we remain grounded in our core values: a commitment to quality, a focus on empowering our readers, and a passion for transforming the way dental information is delivered. The future of Dental Country is bright, and we look forward to continuing to serve the dental community and the public for many years to come.
